ABOUT

Robbie Reddy is a visionary filmmaker and award-winning director whose work showcases a unique ability to craft visually stunning and emotionally compelling narratives. 

Working across all the major UK networks, his versatility ranges from spearheading the cult-hit online dating show "Catfish" for MTV LA, which rapidly rose to one of the network's top-rated series, to directing thoughtful BBC documentaries on luminaries such as Diane Warren, and the exploration of the Black British Style of the Windrush generation for BBC2.

In Music Entertainment, Robbie has produced impactful televised events such as 'Emporio Armani Red – For One Night Only', a fusion of music and fashion headlined by Beyoncé and Giorgio Armani for Channel 4. He has also helmed live broadcasts of major events like The Isle of Wight Music Festival on Sky, The MOBO Awards featuring John Legend and Lauryn Hill at The Royal Albert Hall for BBC 1, The Secret Concert for Telemundo US, and directed the Mercury Music Awards, and Glastonbury Music Festival specials for BBC3.

Robbie has collaborated with legendary music producers Jam and Lewis, renowned for their work with the iconic singer Janet Jackson. He directed animated music videos for two of their remix singles featuring Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige, and multi-Grammy winning Toni Braxton, one of the best selling female artists in history. He has also directed TV performances for artists like Will Young, Westlife, Craig David, and Muse.

Robbie has worked across the globe, from filming BBC specials on Radio One in Ibiza, and New York's music scene with DJs like Oakenfold and Tiesto, to the winter music Miami conference with Craig David. After moving to Miami, he led the team that brought to life FOX US's 'The Nissan Final Rematch’, where former soccer legends who drew in World Cup finals were reunited for a rematch to settle unfinished scores. It celebrated the monumental legacy of football earning several awards, including Best Foreign Language Tv Series at the NAMIC Vision Awards, and Best Variety Or Reality Show at the Imagen Awards.

Robbie's ability to connect with a wide range of personalities shines through in his interviews with everyone from global music legends to influential public figures. These include conversations with stars like the late David Bowie, Celine Dion, Avril Lavigne, Coldplay, Victoria Beckham and the Beastie Boys, as well as many others. He has also interviewed prominent political figures like former Prime Minister Tony Blair at 10 Downing Street for Channel 4.

In the branded content space, Robbie has left his mark with innovative campaigns for Adidas, Nissan, Smirnoff Ice and other high-profile brands. His imaginative approach turned the London Eye into a thrilling endurance challenge with an Olympic gold winner capturing the essence of athletic excellence and endurance for Duracell.

Robbie's behind-the-scenes skills also encompass senior editing, skilled shooting, multi-camera direction (BBC Studios), animation (Unreal Engine, Blender) and music production including title music for several TV shows. Below is a small selection of Robbie's work.

Included archive films documenting the history of the most successful acts, and a specially shot promo to tell the story of fans watching the contest through the decades.
Filmed using a Bolt High Speed Cinebot motion control rig, with Phantom Flex 4k shooting 1000 fps,
Broadcast across Europe to over 20 countries, and an estimated audience of 25 million.
